INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE

STRAIGHTFORWARD TO SERVICE. SPECIFIC TO THE SITE.

Planning for service access and a consistent operating routine matters as much as choosing the recovery equipment.

01 / PLANNING THE INSTALL

WHAT A GOOD INSTALLATION REVIEW COVERS.

01

Location & connections

Assess the oven outlet, piping, floor area, inlet/outlet needs and access.

02

Process conditions

Confirm temperature, discharge cycles, solids loading and site cleaning practices.

03

Downstream requirements

Coordinate with qualified installers and local plumbing, pretreatment and discharge authorities.

02 / DAILY ROUTINE

FOUR PRACTICAL TASKS.

01

Empty the oil container

Handle collected grease safely using the facility’s disposal procedures.

02

Clean the strainer

Remove captured food solids and inspect for buildup.

03

Open the silt valve

Remove settled material using the site-approved procedure.

04 / Brush and inspect

Clean accessible areas with the recommended bottle brush and check for obstructions. Adapt the routine to the actual discharge volume and current equipment instructions.

03 / SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

SITE RULES STILL APPLY.

Hot liquids and recovered fats require suitable protective practices. An upstream recovery device does not automatically replace a required interceptor or authorize discharge. Confirm installation, operation and local wastewater requirements with qualified personnel.
