HOW FOG KING WORKS

SOURCE CONTROL WITHOUT UNNECESSARY COMPLEXITY.

A practical separation approach built around the wastewater stream, operator access and consistent maintenance.

01 / PROCESS PRINCIPLE

SCREEN. SEPARATE. COLLECT.

FOG KING uses solids screening and passive hydrostatic separation. Under suitable conditions, denser water and lighter fats, oils and grease separate, allowing recoverable material to be collected nearer its source.

01

Incoming runoff

Grease-bearing liquid from a cooking process is directed through an appropriately evaluated recovery point.

02

Solids capture

A strainer basket intercepts larger food particles and debris before they pass farther downstream.

03

Density separation

The design uses separation by density, with access for removing collected grease and settled material.

02 / OPERATING CONDITIONS

PERFORMANCE DEPENDS ON THE WASTE STREAM.

Temperature, free-floating versus emulsified grease, flow rate, retention time, solids loading and proper installation all affect separation. Published claims should be tied to current, relevant test data.

FOG KING should be evaluated as part of the facility’s wastewater plan, not presented as automatic permission to eliminate required downstream controls.

03 / SERVICE APPROACH

MAINTENANCE THAT CAN BECOME ROUTINE.

01

Oil container

Empty recovered grease using the site’s handling and safety procedures.

02

Strainer basket

Remove retained food particles and clean the basket.

03

Silt valve & brush

Release settled material and brush accessible service areas as directed.
